However, Raye feels unable to celebrate her win. Lemon was the third teammate of hers murdered within the past five years, and each time the tragedy has led to Raye ascending the podium. Raye begins to fear for the safety of her teammates, and the two pesky detectives who’ve got Raye on their radar aren’t helping. She takes it upon herself to solve the mystery of Lemon’s murder, even if it jeopardizes her relationships with those that she holds dear.
